Janie is the Program Coordinator and Technology Training Librarian for Princeton Public Library (NJ) where she divides her time between coordinating 1,600+ public programs, managing the library’s Technology Training Center and providing technology training for both staff and library customers. In the evenings and weekend she freelances as a virtual librarian on the QandANJ virtual reference service. Former positions include Reference & Interlibrary Loan Librarian at Hobart and Wm. Smith Colleges in Geneva (NY), Children’s Literature Librarian at the National Library of Canada, Research Assistant at the University of Western Ontario, and a five year stint as a middle school teacher in Kingston (ON). In 2007 she was named a Mover and Shaker by Library Journal.

Hi Janie
I googled your name and really enjoyed your talk #5 about social networks. We had talked about blogging at scrapbooking today.
I actually joined a “ning” network recently for voice over talent, actors, voice coaches, etc. I found your talk very interesting. Your job at the library is so varied. I am sure it keeps you energized (in addition to your son).]
